KYOTO TEMPLE

I have a good collection of oriental fabric and I have wanted to make a quilt to display them. A quilt pattern on Pinterest inspired me to make this. I originally named the quilt “Oriental Garden”. My son told me it looks like some temples in Kyoto. I researched the famous temples in Kyoto and their structures have black lines and squares on the buildings. This quilt pattern looks like the temple structures, so I changed the name to “Kyoto Temple”.
