Early Morning In The Rainforest

This wall hanging was a panel. I changed the sky to a lighter color which made it look like the sun is rising. More birds, flowers and trees have been added to make it look lively. I also used Angeline fibers to highlight the waterfall and thread painting to show the beautiful colors of the tropical birds. This wall hanging is only 36½” x 47½”. I didn’t think it would take me that long to finish, but when I was working on it I would add a few more flowers, trees & colour every day. I felt it was an endless project so after eight months I told myself I had to finish it. The wall hanging looks wonderful and the time I spent on it was well worth it!
